ဗုဒၶ (Buddha)

ဘီစီ ၆၂၃-ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ကပၸိလ၀တၴဳၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္၌ ခမည္းေတာ္ သုေဒၶါဒနမင္း၊ မယ္ေတာ္ သီရိမဟာမာယာေဒ၀ီတုိ႔မွ ဖြားျမင္ေတာ္မူသည္။ သက်သာကီ၀င္မင္းမ်ဳိးျဖစ္သည္။ သက္ေတာ္ ၁၆-ႏွစ္တြင္ ေဒ၀ဒဟၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္မွ ဘဒၵကၪၥနာ ယေသာဓရာေဒ၀ီႏွင့္ လက္ထပ္၍ ထီးနန္းစည္းစိမ္ ခံစားေတာ္မူသည္။ သက္ေတာ္ ၂၉-ႏွစ္တြင္ သားေတာ္ ရာဟုလာ ေမြးဖြားခဲ့သည္။ ထုိေန႔မွာပင္ ေတာထြက္ေတာ္မႈခဲ့၍ ဥ႐ုေ၀လ ေတာအုပ္၌ ၆-ႏွစ္တုိင္တုိင္ ဒုကၠရစရိယာ အက်င့္ကုိ က်င့္ခဲ့သည္။ သက္ေတာ္ ၃၅-ႏွစ္တြင္ ဂယာၿမိဳ႕အနီး ေဗာဓိမ႑ဳိင္၌ ေလာကသုံးပါးတြင္ အတုမရွိ ျမင့္ျမတ္ေသာ သဗၺၫူဗုဒၶအျဖစ္သုိ႔ ေရာက္ေတာ္မူခဲ့သည္။ ၄၅-၀ါ ကာလပါတ္လုံး တရားေတာ္မ်ားကုိ လွည့္လည္ ေဟာၾကားေတာ္မူခဲ့ၿပီး၊ သက္ေတာ္ ၈၀-အ႐ြယ္တြင္ ကုသိနာ႐ုံ၌ ပရိနိဗၺာန္ျပဳေတာ္မူခဲ့သည္။

ဗုဒၶသည္ သတၲ၀ါမ်ား စီးပြားခ်မ္းသာအက်ဳိးငွာ ပြင့္ေတာ္မူလာခဲ့ျခင္း ျဖစ္သည္။

ျမတ္ဗုဒၶကုိ ကုိးကြယ္ရာဟူ၍ ဆည္းကပ္ပါ၏။

He was born in Kapi8lavatthu in 623 B.C. His parents were King Suddhodana and Queen Mahᾱ Mᾱyᾱ of Sakyan Clan. At the age of Sixteen, he married Bhaddakancana Yasodharᾱ of Devadaha City and took the royal throne. At the age of twenty-nine, he got a son and named him Rᾱhulᾱ. On the day his son as born, he renounced the world and wandered about in Uruvela grove, searching for the ultimate Truth from various teachers. For six long years he practiced the Dukkaracariyᾱ, the difficult practice which no ordinary person can undertake. At the age of thirty-five, he attained full Enlightenment at the foot of the Bodhi Tree near the town of Gayᾱ. He taught the dhamma for forty-five years of Buddhahood and at the age of eighty, he realized Parinibbᾱna at Kusinᾱra.

For the welfare of all living beings, the Buddha appeared in this world.

I take refuge in the Buddha.
