EVIL Mᾱra

မာရ -  မာရ္၊ မာရ္ ၅-ပါး။

မာရ္ ၅-မ်ဳိး -

(၁) ခႏၶမာရ္ (ခႏၶာ ၅-ပါး)

(၂) အဘိသခၤါရမာရ္ (ဘ၀ကုိ စီမံဖန္တီးေပးေသာ ကုသုိလ္၊ အကုသုိလ္ကံ)၊

(၃) မစၥဳမာရ္ (ေသျခင္းတရား)၊

(၄) ေဒ၀ပုတၱမာရ္ (မာရ္နတ္သား)၊

(၅) ကိေလသမာရ္ (ကိေလသာတရားမ်ား)။

The five Mᾱras

The five are;-

(1) the five aggregates of existence, Khandha mᾱra

(2) volitional actions, both good and evil, that tend to rebirth, abhisaṅkhᾱra mᾱra;

(3) Death, maccu mᾱra;

(4) the Evil One, the death-dealing deva, Devaputta mᾱra;

(5) the defilements, Kilesa mᾱra.
