HINDRANCES - နီ၀ရဏ

HINDRANCES Nῑvaraṇa

နီ၀ရဏ -       စ်ာန္, မဂ္, ဖုိလ္တုိ႔ကုိ ပိတ္ပင္တားဆီးတတ္ေသာ တရား။

ထုိနီ၀ရဏတရားတုိ႔သည္ -

(၁) ကာမစၧႏၵ - ကာမဂုဏ္၌ လုိလားေတာင့္တမႈ၊

(၂) ဗ်ာပါဒ - ပ်က္စီးေစလုိမႈ၊ ဖ်က္ဆီးမႈ၊

(၃) ထိနမိဒၶ - ထုိင္းမႈိင္းျခင္း၊ ငုိက္ျမည္းျခင္း၊

(၄) ဥဒၶစၥ ကုကၠဳစၥ - စိတ္၏ မၿငိမ္မသက္ျခင္း၊ ေနာင္တပူပန္ျခင္း၊

(၅) ၀ိစိကိစၧာ - ယုံမွားေတြးေတာျခင္း၊

(၆) အ၀ိဇၨာ - အမွန္တရားကုိ ဖုံးလႊမ္းျခင္း - ဟု ၆-ပါးရွိသည္။

Obstructions; those factor that hinder they way to the achievement of mental absorption, Insight Knowledge and Fruition, jhᾱna, magga and phala.

The six hindrances are;

(1) sensual desire, kᾱmacchanda;

(2) ill will, byᾱpᾱda;

(3) sloth and torpor, thina middha;

(4) restlessness and worry, uddhacca kukkucca;

(5) doubt, vicikicchᾱ; and

(6) ignorance of the Ariya Truths, avijjᾱ.
