NOBLE ONE Ariya

အရိယ -        အရိယာ၊ ျမင့္ျမတ္သူ။

အရိယာသည္ ကိေလသာအခ်ဳိ႕ကုိျဖစ္ေစ၊ အားလုံးကုိျဖစ္ေစ ပယ္သတ္ၿပီးသူျဖစ္၏။ အပယ္တံခါးပိတ္ၿပီးသူ ျဖစ္သည္။

(၁) ေသာတာပႏၷ - ေသာတာပန္၊ အရိယာမဂ္ေရအလ်ဥ္သုိ႔ေရာက္ၿပီး၊ မဂ္စိတ္, ဖုိလ္စိတ္ရၿပီးသူ၊ အမ်ားဆုံး ခုႏွစ္ဘ၀ျဖစ္ၿပီးေနာက္ ပရိနိဗၺာန္စံ၀င္မည့္ ပုဂၢိဳလ္။

(၂) သကဒါဂါမိ - သကဒါဂါမ္၊ ဤလူ႕ဘုံသုိ႔ တစ္ႀကိမ္သာ လာေတာ့မည့္ ပုဂၢိဳလ္။

(၃) အနာဂါမိ - အနာဂါမ္၊ ေသလွ်င္ ကာမသုဂတိ ၇-ဘုံ၌ မျဖစ္ေရေတာ့ဘဲ ႐ူပ အ႐ူပျဗဟၼာဘုံ၌သာျဖစ္၍ ပရိနိဗၺာန္ စံ၀င္မည့္ပုဂၢဳိလ္။

(၄) အရဟႏၲ - ရဟႏၲာ၊ ကိေလသာအားလုံး ပယ္သတ္ၿပီးျဖစ္၍ ပရိနိဗၺာန္စံ၀င္ေတာ့မည့္ ပုဂၢိဳလ္။

An Ariya is a noble one who has destroyed some or all of the defilements. He is precluded from falling to the woeful state of apaya.

(1) the Streamwinner or sotᾱpanna who has entered the stream of Path-knowledge, having attained Path-Consciousness and Fruition-Consciousness and who is destined to realize Parinibbana, the Ultimate Peace, after having seven rebirths at the most.

(2) the Once-Returner or Sakadᾱgᾱmi, who having reached the second stage of Path-Knowledge will be reborn only once as a human being before realizing the Ultimate Peace.

(3) the Non-Returner or anᾱgᾱmi, who having reached the third stage of Path-Knowledge will be reborn only in the Fine-Material Sphere or the Non-Material Sphere before realizing the Ultimate Peace.

(4) the Arahat who has destroyed all the defilements and is ripe for realizing the Ultimate Peace.
