PASSING ONE’S TIME Vihᾱra

၀ိဟာရ -        ေနျခင္း၊ ေနထုိင္ျခင္း၊ သီတင္းသုံးျခင္း၊ စံေပ်ာ္ျခင္း။

ေနထုိင္ျခင္း ၄-မ်ဳိးရွိ၏ -
(၁) ဒိဗၺဟာရ - စ်ာန္၀င္စား၍ေနျခင္း၊
(၂) ျဗဟၼ၀ိဟာရ - ေမတၱာစ်ာန္စသည္ကုိ ၀င္စား၍ေနျခင္း၊
(၃) အရိယ၀ိဟာရ - ဖလသမာပတ္ ၀င္စား၍ေနျခင္း၊
(၄) ဣရိယာ၀ိဟာရ - ေလ်ာင္းထုိင္ရပ္သြား ဣရိယာပုတ္ေလးပါးတြင္ တစ္ပါးပါးျဖင့္ေနျခင္း။

There are four ways of passing one’s time :-
(1) passing one’s time in mental absorption, jhᾱna (Dibba Vihᾱra)
(2) passing one’s time in the sublime states of mind (Brahma Vihᾱra);
(3) passing one’s time in Fruition absorption (Ariya Vihᾱra); and
(4) passing one’s time in one of the four postures—lying down, sitting, standing, walking (Iriyᾱpatha Vihᾱra).
