PROXIMITY CONSCIOUSNESS Upacᾱra

ဥပစာရ - ဥပစာစိတ္၊ စ်ာန္, မဂ္, ဖုိလ္ - ဟူေသာ အပၸနာ၏ အနီး၌ ျဖစ္ေသာစိတ္။

အိမ္, ေက်ာင္း, ႐ြာ စသည္တုိ႔၏ အနီးအနားကုိ အိမ္ဥပစာ၊ ေက်ာင္းဥပစာ၊ ႐ြာဥပစာဟု ေခၚသကဲ့သုိ႔ စ်ာန္, မဂ္, ဖုိလ္တုိ႔၏ အနီး၌ျဖစ္ေသာ စိတ္ကုိ ဥပစာစိတ္ဟုေခၚသည္။

Neighbourhood consciousness
It is termed the proximate consciousness as it occurs in the proximity of the attainment of the appropriate Path Consciousness. Just as the proximity of a house or a school or a village is called upacᾱra, the proximity of attainment of Jhᾱna, Magga and Phala is called upacara.
