အ႐ူပဇီ၀ိတိၿႏၵိယ - နာမ္ဇီ၀ိတိေႁႏၵ၊ နာမ္သက္ ဇီ၀ိတိေႁႏၵေစတသိက္။

သတၱ၀ါတစ္ဦးတြင္ ႐ုပ္သက္, နာမ္သက္ဟူ၍ အသက္ႏွစ္မ်ဳိးရွိသည္။ နာမ္ဇီ၀ိတိေႁႏၵသည္ ၎ႏွင့္အတူ ယွဥ္၍ ျဖစ္ၾကေသာ စိတ္, ေစတသိက္တုိ႔ကုိ သက္တမ္းျပည့္ တည္တံ့ေအာင္ ေစာင့္ထိန္းေပးေသာ နာမ္သက္ျဖစ္သည္။

Faculty of mental life
In a being, there are the faculty of physical or material life, rῡpa jῑvitindriya and the psychic life, nᾱma jῑvitindriya. Psychic life is the vitalizing principle which safeguards life of the mental concomitants which arise together with it. The mental states are sustained by this vitalizing principle through out one’s life-span.
