SIX HUES OF THE BUDDHA’S RAYS Chabbaṇṇaraṁsῑ

ဆဗၺဏၰရံသီ - ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္ေျခာက္ပါး။

ျမတ္စြာဘုရားရွင္၏ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္ေျခာက္ပါးရွိသည္ -

(၁) နီလ - ညဳိေမွာင္ေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္၊
(၂) ပီတ - ၀ါေ႐ႊေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္၊
(၃) ၾသဒါတ - ျဖဴေဖြးေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္၊
(၄) ေလာဟိတ - နီျမန္းေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္၊
(၅) မဥၨိ႒ - ၾကက္ေသြးေရာင္ အဆင္းရွိေသာ ေမာင္းေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္၊
(၆) ပဘႆရ - ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္ငါးမ်ဳိးေရာယွက္၍ ၿပိဳးၿပိဳးျပက္ျပက္ တလက္လက္ထြက္ေသာ ေရာင္ျခည္ေတာ္။

Six coloured rays emitted from the Buddha’s body

The six rays of the Buddha are :-
(1) rays of dark blue colour, nῑla;
(2) rays of yellow colour, pῑta;
(3) rays of white colour, odᾱta;
(4) rays of red colour, lohita;
(5) rays of dark red colour, mañjiṭṭha; and
(6) glittering rays of a mixture of the above five colours, pabhassara.
